Summary:

皇冠体育app student pilot had successfully completed five circuits with his instructor at Rochester Airport from Runway 20, amounting to approximately 55 minutes of flight. 皇冠体育app fifth circuit ended with a full stop landing after which the instructor briefed the student for his first solo circuit.

皇冠体育app reported wind was from 240潞 at 15 kt and the student considered that the approach to Runway 20 was normal. During touchdown, the aircraft bounced to approximately three feet in a level attitude, after which it touched down again and the nose landing gear collapsed. 皇冠体育app aircraft skidded to a halt on its nose and left wing. 皇冠体育app pilot, who was wearing a full harness, was uninjured.
