A Performance Measurement review officer may phone you if you鈥檙e claiming:
- Carer鈥檚 Allowance
- Housing Benefit
- Pension Credit
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- State Pension
- Universal Credit
Your name is selected at random to be checked.
You鈥檒l get a letter in advance telling you the date and time of the phone call.
What to expect

- payslips
- bank, building society or Post Office accounts
- rent book or tenancy agreement
- benefits and tax credit awards

Phone calls usually last up to an hour but may be longer.
