Abstract

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp issues of data privacy and the processing of user data have attracted a considerable amount of interest and research from a wide range of different perspectives, including consumer protection, legal, behavioural economics, information processing and psychology.

In order to have a comprehensive understanding of the research about data privacy and data processing, we have carried out a review of the publicly available consumer survey data and the relevant academic research. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp purpose of the review is to establish an evidence base to inform our understanding of these issues.
