Almost 拢11 million for Dagenham Heathway聽(Levelling Up Fund 2)
Over 拢10.8 million from the Levelling Up Fund will generate new affordable homes, safeguard jobs and improve Dagenham Heathway.

Levelling Up funding will support a strategic development opportunity to the land on Dagenham Heathway. This will make the area suitable for a new housing development that will provide 316 affordable new homes and space for businesses.

A variety of improvements will be made that will modernise Dagenham Heathway, making it a more attractive place to live, work and visit.聽聽

- Legible London totems as part of TfL鈥檚 wayfinding project to provide clear travel and navigation information throughout the capital聽
- a park and new rain gardens聽
- new performance spaces and an area for attractions and events聽
Upgraded pedestrian crossings will also be introduced, and several traffic calming measures implemented that will improve the area for pedestrians and cyclists and make the town safer.聽
