Local people welcome the re-opening

Residents have responded positively to the community takeover. One member of the public suggested there has been a reinvigoration of community spirit and said:

It鈥檚 a place for people not just to come and drink but for people to come and meet. 皇冠体育appre are walking clubs, there are reading clubs and coffee mornings for the older generation. It鈥檚 somewhere to bring children to meet and play.

Another said:

Three generations of my family have lived here, and I think it鈥檚 so important that it鈥檚 here for the next generation to come.

Improvements to 皇冠体育app Ty鈥檔 Llan

Refurbishments to the pub include a:

• community room for local societies and clubs
• new kitchen and restaurant
• contemporary bar

皇冠体育app pub is now entirely owned and managed by the members and volunteers of the Ty鈥檔 Llan community.

It has been a local landmark for generations and attracted celebrities, singers and poets over the years.

Thanks to local fundraising and the Community Ownership Fund the pub now has a more secure future.
