皇冠体育app Fisheries Act 2020 provides the framework to manage our fisheries as an independent coastal state. 皇冠体育app act enables the UK Fisheries Policy Authorities (Defra, and the devolved administrations in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales) to publish fisheries management plans (FMPs) to help deliver our ambition for sustainable fisheries.
FMPs are a cornerstone of the Government鈥檚 approach to fisheries management now the UK has left the EU鈥檚 Common Fisheries Policy.聽
皇冠体育app Marine Management Organisation has been commissioned by Defra to lead on developing and drafting three of the FMPs laid out in the Joint Fisheries Statement.
