Voluntary Right to Buy Midlands pilot
皇冠体育app Voluntary Right to Buy (VRTB) Midlands pilot launched in August 2018, giving eligible housing association tenants in the East and West Midlands the opportunity to purchase their homes at Right to Buy level discounts. 皇冠体育app pilot concluded in 2021.
皇冠体育app aims of the pilot were to test on a regional basis the extension of Right to Buy to housing associations. 皇冠体育app pilot evaluation was published in February 2021.
Annual data reports have been published by the department each February, starting in 2021. This was to track sales and replacements under the pilot, and to assess whether the 3-year replacement target was being met. 皇冠体育app last release was published in February 2024 and covered the period up to the end of September 2023.
皇冠体育app government announced in November 2024 that it will not be taking forward the extension of the Right to Buy to housing association tenants. 皇冠体育app government plans therefore not to continue with the annual data collection.
