We received 21 responses to this consultation. We have considered the comments received and we鈥檝e produced an updated draft code of practice for the welfare of laying hens and pullets.
皇冠体育app draft code was placed in Parliament on 5 June 2018. If there are no objections from Parliament, it will come into force in August 2018.

We want to know what you think of our draft statutory code of practice for the welfare of laying hens. 皇冠体育app code of practice is for England only. 皇冠体育app code provides improved, up-to-date guidance on the current legislation and reflects the latest scientific and veterinary knowledge.
