Consultation description
皇冠体育app Department for Transport seeks views on proposals to transpose . This would establish a single European railway area for the UK and the UK side of the Channel Tunnel and repeal and consolidate (鈥榬ecast鈥�) previous EU legislation for ease of reference.
We are asking for specific feedback on proposed methods to implement the directive, keeping previously transposed optional derogations and the regulatory body鈥檚 powers to fine.
皇冠体育app draft Railways Infrastructure (Access and Management) and Railways (Licensing of Railway Undertakings) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 would implement this directive in the UK.

- access and management of railway infrastructure, including services
- licensing of railway undertakings
- role of the Office of Rail Regulation
