Consultation description

皇冠体育app government is holding a call for views as part of a post-implementation review (PIR) of the legislation. A PIR reviews the impact of the legislation within 5 years of coming into force.

皇冠体育app legislation affected the term of copyright protection for artistic works and removed compulsory licensing for works where copyright was revived. 皇冠体育app main affected groups are artists and designers; publishers; educational institutions and museums; and manufacturers and retailers of replicas. 皇冠体育app affected works are most likely furniture, lighting, jewellery and ceramics and other works of artistic craftsmanship.

We ask for your views on whether the legislation has achieved its original objectives. We would like evidence-based responses where possible.

This call for views will run for 10 weeks. It is open from 22 June 2021 and will close on 31 August 2021.
