Consultation description
ʹapp EU has recently made changes to legislation on supplementary protection certificates (SPCs), to introduce an SPC manufacturing waiver. ʹapp waiver allows third party manufacturers to make SPC-protected medicines in certain circumstances.
If the UK leaves the EU without a deal, these changes will automatically become UK law on exit day. Parts of the retained changes will need fixing so that they continue to work as UK law.
ʹapp government is seeking views on how we propose to make those fixes. ʹapp document explains what the fixes are, and what the proposed legislation looks like.
