皇冠体育app UK acknowledges efforts to implement the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. However, we remain concerned about widespread allegations of human rights violations and abuses, including on freedoms of expression and assembly.
We recommend Togo:

Implement a comprehensive strategy to tackle child abuse and criminalise contemporary forms of slavery including human trafficking, forced labour and forced marriage, in line with international standards;

Ensure that all allegations of arbitrary arrest, detention and torture are promptly impartially and thoroughly investigated and perpetrators brought to justice;

Decriminalise same sex consensual relations to protect the human rights of all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
