A royal reception for young sports stars
Prince Harry meets high flyers of 2012 School Games.

Medal winners from the 2012 School Games celebrated their achievements today with Prince Harry and Olympic gold medallists Darren Campbell and Jason Gardener at a special reception at Clarence House.

More than 1,600 young people took part in the event across 12 sports, watched by more than 35,000 spectators.
Inspiring young people
Prince Harry, who is President of the Olympic-style School Games, has expressed his hopes London 2012 will inspire young people to get active.
He has also played an active role in encouraging more schools to sign up for the Sainsbury鈥檚 School Games. he said: 鈥淚 hope that young people all over the UK will feel inspired to follow in the footsteps of our Olympic heroes and get involved in sport.
鈥淎nd, to every student out there who may not think sport is for them, I would simply say there鈥檚 no better time to have a go - try something different and start a sporting habit to last a lifetime.鈥�
