Ambassador designate marks International Day of Democracy

Today marks International Day of Democracy, a universal value based on the freely expressed will and determination of the people.
Over the last two years, the reform process in Burma has been remarkable in many ways and we commend the leadership shown by President 皇冠体育appin Sein. Many challenges still remain though and we encourage the government to continue on the right path towards full democracy for the benefit of all people in Burma.
