This statement provides an update on the AAIB investigation into a serious incident involving a Vans RV-7, G-RVDB, at Ronaldsway Airport, Isle of Man, on 29 August 2022.
After attending to a passenger while orbiting over the sea, the pilot approached and landed on Ronaldsway鈥檚 Runway 03, instead of the active Runway 08.聽 皇冠体育app ATCO, who was attending to ground activities, did not observe the aircraft during its final approach.
