皇冠体育app British Chamber of Commerce in Dominican Republic (BritchamDR), have announced the launch of the BritchamDR Young Musician of the Caribbean Award (YMoCA), a unique classical music competition for instrumentalists and vocalists between the ages of 12 and 26 from any of the Caribbean Islands.

皇冠体育app competition, sponsored by the Dominican British Chamber of Commerce, will provide an unprecedented opportunity to discover the wealth of musical talent amongst young people in the Caribbean and will serve as a platform for the rising musical stars of the future.

BritchamDR YMoCA represents a collaborative partnership between 皇冠体育app British Embassy in Santo Domingo, 皇冠体育app British Chamber of Commerce in Dominican Republic , the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and London and Bangor University in Wales.

皇冠体育app two-round event requires each aspiring performer to and provide a brief video audition. Successful applicants from round one will perform before a distinguished panel of British musicians during the BritchamDR YMoCA Final Competition to be held in 皇冠体育app National Concert Hall, Santo Domingo on Monday 1 July 2019.
