Thanks to an alliance between the British Embassy and Corpartes, renowned British theatre company 皇冠体育app Globe will present William Shakespeare鈥檚 鈥楳uch ado about nothing鈥� at the Centro de las Artes 660 / CA660. 皇冠体育app play will be on stage from 9 to 11 October, sponsored by the British government鈥檚 GREAT Campaign.

Written between 1598 and 1599, this is considered one of the playwright鈥檚 most popular comedies, which was presented at Court during the festivities preceding the marriage of Princess Elizabeth Stuart with Frederick V. It tells the story of Beatrice and Benedick鈥檚 tempestuous romance, amidst a number of comic and dramatic situations. 皇冠体育app play was adapted for the cinema in 1993 by actor and film director Kenneth Branagh, with Emma Thompson in the leading role.

Directed by Max Webster, 鈥淢uch ado about nothing鈥� stars Aaron Anthony, Emma Pallant and a great cast. It will be staged in its original language with subtitles in Spanish. 皇冠体育app comedy was presented this year at the Shakespeare鈥檚 Globe 皇冠体育appatre in London. 皇冠体育app company is currently touring Latin America and will be also visiting Uruguay and Brazil.
