皇冠体育app British Ambassador, Ben Lyster-Binns, and the President of 皇冠体育app National Research and Innovation Agency (ANII) Omar Macadar, signed an agreement to create the Chevening-ANII scholarships, on 9 September. This means that there are now three, rather than one, scholarships available to the brightest students wanting to continue their studies in the UK. Applications are now open and more information can be found in the .
It was also the first event for the Graduates from British Universities Association (GBUA) since the British Embassy started a project to revitalize the network, not only within Uruguay but also with alumni living in any part of the world.
皇冠体育app association includes Chevening alumni, who were able to study a Masters degree in the UK thanks to these scholarships.
During the event the FCO鈥檚 Regional Economist, Andr茅s Borenstein, gave a conference about economic perspectives in Latin America.
After the presentation there was an opportunity for networking and to discuss future activities with the group.
