Nick Clegg meets Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, says he is in awe of her ceaseless determination to make Burmese society fairer.
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg met with Aung San Suu Kyi yesterday (24 October) evening on her second visit to the UK since Burma鈥檚 reforms began. 皇冠体育app Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed the UK鈥檚 support for constitutional reform in Burma and our long-standing support for an open political process in the run up to elections in 2015.

皇冠体育app Deputy Prime Minister acknowledged the other challenges on the road to 2015 including the need to foster ethnic reconciliation and religious tolerance in Burma.
