Empowering women in Ba
UK funded capacity building workshops aimed at providing practical training and empowering women.

Some 25 women in Ba today received certificates from the Acting British High Commissioner Steve Chandler for participating in capacity building workshops funded by the British High Commission.
皇冠体育app project titled, 鈥淲omen鈥檚 Transformation: A Realistic, Practical Empowerment Process鈥� included a series of workshops on time management and leadership skills, planning and organising activities, empowerment of women, building self-confidence and improving communication, and creative skills for crafts.
Facilitated by the Executive Mentoring Group, the project received funding of approx. FJD$15,000 aimed at providing practical training and empowering women. Participants included members of the Ba Women鈥檚 Forum which represents close to 42 registered women鈥檚 groups in Ba.

Mr. Chandler said he was delighted to be in Ba on the occasion of the completion of the project. He was personally inspired by the excellent and important work carried out by the Executive Mentoring Group and the Ba Women鈥檚 Forum. He was also pleased to hear that the workshops organised under the project were well attended.
