His Royal Highness Prince Mired during his visits to UK military medical and rehabilitation centres
From 1 鈥� 3 September, His Royal Highness Prince Mired Bin Ra鈥檃d al-Hussein of Jordan, President of the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers, visited the United Kingdom to share best practice on military care for serving personnel and veterans.
During his visit, His Royal Highness visited 皇冠体育app Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court; the Battle Back Centre at Lilleshall, Shropshire; and charities and NGOs that care for serving and former military personnel.
皇冠体育appse visits incorporated tours of specialist prosthetics and rehabilitation units, and briefings on a wide range of topics including the 鈥楤attle Back鈥� sports programme, the UK Armed Forces鈥� mental health strategy and the 鈥業nvictus Games鈥� 鈥� a sports event celebrating the achievements of wounded veterans, hosted at the London 2012 Olympic venues.
Speaking during his visit, HRH Prince Mired said: 鈥楯ordan and the UK have always enjoyed a long and friendly relationship, especially as concerns military affairs. 皇冠体育app services and support that the UK affords its 鈥榳ounded heroes鈥� is truly amazing and I sincerely hope that further cooperation between our two countries will enhance and better the services that we provide in Jordan.鈥�

His Royal Highness鈥� visit comes as part of an ongoing programme of UK-Jordan defence cooperation and sharing of expertise.
