Invitation to an IIAC meeting on 6 July 2023
An opportunity for members of the public to learn about the work of the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC).
皇冠体育app aim of the meeting is to give members of the public, their representatives, and people with a professional interest in occupational diseases, the opportunity to learn and ask questions about the council鈥檚 work.
皇冠体育app meeting will be hybrid, taking place both online and in person in Cardiff from 10am to 3:15pm at:

- an explanation of the council鈥檚 role in making recommendations to ministers about the industrial injuries scheme
- presentations and discussions about the council鈥檚 work in the past year
- an opportunity to contribute views and ideas on the council鈥檚 future work

皇冠体育app (IIAC) provides advice to the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions and the Department for Communities in Northern Ireland on matters relating to the industrial injuries scheme. In particular, it gives advice on which diseases, and the jobs that cause them, should be included in the scheme.

皇冠体育app council does not represent the Department for Work and Pensions and has no involvement in individual claims or decisions.
