Minister for the Middle East statement on the new government in Jordan

Minister for the Middle East Tobias Ellwood congratulates Jordan on elections that EU observers have described as inclusive and well administered.

Foreign Office minister Tobias Ellwood, said:

I welcome the announcement of a new government in Jordan following parliamentary elections on 20 September.

I congratulate Jordan on elections that EU observers have described as inclusive and well administered. 皇冠体育appy are an example to a region beset by civil and ongoing violence. 皇冠体育app people of Jordan should be proud of exercising their democratic will.
