New head of Youth Sport Trust appointed
Culture Secretary welcomes former UK Sport Chief Executive聽John Steele to new role

He joins at a busy time for youth sport, overseeing the delivery of high profile sporting initiatives such as the new .

Mr Steele said: 鈥淚t is an absolute privilege to be appointed Chief Executive of the Youth Sport Trust.聽I have often looked on with admiration at the work of the Youth Sport Trust and a large part of my motivation for joining the organisation is it鈥檚 exceptional record of delivery and expertise.

Baroness Sue Campbell, who has held the role of Chief Executive since March 2011,聽will return to her position as Chair of the Youth Sport Trust.
