Nick Clegg meets President of Turkey

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg has today met with Abdullah Gul, President of the Republic of Turkey.

皇冠体育app Deputy Prime Minister聽 congratulated President Gul on being named the Chatham House International Statesman of the Year.

He also expressed the Coalition Government鈥檚 firm support for Turkey鈥檚 EU membership plans and commitment to boosting trade and investment between the UK and Turkey.

Mr Clegg accepted an invitation from President Gul to visit Turkey early in 2011.
