Plane crash in Kathmandu
We can confirm there was a plane crash near Kathmandu airport on 28 September involving British Nationals.

Seven British Nationals were killed in an air crash near Kathmandu airport early this morning. All next of kin have been informed, but we are not able to confirm names or other details at this time.
Our immediate priority is to provide consular assistance to the families of the victims and offer any help we can following this tragedy.

鈥淲e鈥檝e had excellent cooperation from the Nepalese authorities and the Nepali Police and have been in touch with the local tour company who were arranging the tour for those British nationals we believe to have been on board.
鈥淚 myself have already been to Tribhuvan University hospital where the casualties were taken and have spoken to senior medical staff there and we remain in contact with them.鈥�
