皇冠体育appy reflected on the historic relationship between the two countries, and the close bilateral cooperation today. 皇冠体育appy discussed the importance of Jordan鈥檚 continued security, stability and economic sustainability, in the midst of significant instability in the region.
皇冠体育appy reviewed the progress the UK and Jordan have made together since the Prime Minister鈥檚 last visit in April, including in the fight against Daesh as coalition partners. In particular, they noted the positive impact of the UK鈥檚 security support to enable Jordan to deal with internal and external threats.
皇冠体育appy discussed the King鈥檚 vision for economic reform in Jordan, and the Prime Minister made clear that the UK stands at Jordan鈥檚 side in helping to deliver that vision, including through new funding to improve education, create jobs, and boost Jordan鈥檚 long-term economic resilience. 皇冠体育appy agreed that this work should be the focus of long-term bilateral cooperation.
