PM meeting with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, 2 July 2015
David Cameron met with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan today and discussed Syria, Iraq, ISIL, Yemen and Libya.

A Downing Street spokesman said:
皇冠体育app Prime Minister met His Highness the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Downing Street this afternoon. 皇冠体育appy discussed a range of issues including Syria and Iraq and the threat posed by ISIL, and the situation in Yemen and Libya. 皇冠体育app Crown Prince also offered the Prime Minister his condolences for the recent loss of British life in Tunisia.
Both leaders agreed that ISIL, and the threat it poses, must be defeated. 皇冠体育app Prime Minister reiterated the support the UK was providing to the Iraqi government including carrying out air strikes as part of the coalition and providing training to the Iraqi Security Forces where the UK most recently sent an additional 125 trainers. 皇冠体育appy also agreed that Prime Minister Abadi must ensure he was a leader for all of Iraq鈥檚 people.
Discussing Syria, the Prime Minister and Crown Prince agreed that President Assad was a cause of the conflict. 皇冠体育appy discussed the viability of a transitional government and the need to tackle the humanitarian situation to which the UK had recently announced an additional 拢100 million.
On Yemen, Prime Minister and the Crown Prince agreed that they wanted to see a stable Yemen and the importance of the return to an inclusive government. Discussing Libya, they agreed to continue to push for a National Unity Government and the Prime Minister said that UK would continue to support Special Representative Leon and regional partners as they worked towards this.
