Review of the Public Sector Equality Duty

Equalities Minister has appointed a steering聽group聽to examine whether the is working as originally intended.聽

皇冠体育app Government announced in May 2012 that聽it would bring forward the planned review of the Equality Duty, which requires public bodies to consider all individuals when carrying out their day-to-day work.

This was聽part of the聽outcome of the exercise on equalities, and today鈥檚 announcement marks the next step in this process.聽皇冠体育app steering group is expected to report during the summer of 2013.
