Scottish Secretary welcomes UK's foreign investment success
Scotland benefits from record foreign investment in UK.
Scotland鈥檚 economy and workers are reaping the success of the UK鈥檚 efforts to attract foreign investment, the Scottish Secretary said today.
皇冠体育app latest figures from UKTI show Scotland attracted 119 new projects, either creating or supporting almost 5,500 new jobs.
皇冠体育app UK鈥檚 strong economic performance during 2014 has seen the country鈥檚 inward FDI stock 鈥� the value of accumulated foreign direct investment in the UK 鈥� break the 拢1 trillion barrier for the first time.
Investment into the UK came from more than 70 countries, including the world鈥檚 leading emerging markets.
