皇冠体育app new cohort of Cumbria based degree apprentices celebrated completing their 3-month induction as they move to the next phase in their training programmes.

Forty-five students completed the 鈥榖ridging course鈥� with GEN2 training provider at Energus in West Cumbria, that consisted of introductions to electrical, mechanical, nuclear and maths modules.

皇冠体育appy will now undertake their degree apprentice programmes in a wide range of disciplines, including:

• technical
• civil
• control systems
• operations
• mechanical and electrical design
• quality
• engineering and maintenance
• scientific

This will include being placed on site, or training at Energus to complete a performing engineering operations qualification before joining their pathway at Sellafield.

Alongside the degree, the students also complete a Level 5 Nuclear Technician Apprenticeship. This is an exciting time for our students.
