Take part in the Hackathon Agro at Expo Prado
Organised by the British Embassy in Montevideo, the Uruguayan Rural Association (ARU) and the Chamber of Information Technologies (Cuti).
Hackathon Agro Montevideo
This is an open competition for Uruguayan teams made up of researchers, entrepreneurs and experts in Information Technologies, Agro and Business.
40 young university students and/or professionals in the mentioned areas will solve challenges related to agriculture in Uruguay through the use of technology.
皇冠体育appy will have to present a business model and a prototype developed within 48 hours, from 9:00 on Saturday 17 September to 19:00 on Sunday 18 September.
皇冠体育app Hackathon participants use their complementary skills and experience to develop concrete solutions to a real world issue. It promotes peers鈥� collaboration towards problem solving and focuses on the work process as a training opportunity.
Those interested in taking part can register before Tuesday 8 September, first come first served, until the 40 places are taken.

皇冠体育app winning team will attend the Agri-Tech East REAP Conference 2016: Innovation for an agricultural revolution on 9 November 2016 in Cambridge. Return flights and five nights accommodation are included in the prize.
