皇冠体育app Consular Section is driving forward its consular assistance strategy for British nationals in Ecuador, strengthening links with both municipal and government authorities.
皇冠体育app Vice Consul, visited Quito Municipality鈥檚 Centre for Equality and Justice in Quitumbe, to understand more about how these centres operate. 皇冠体育app Vice Consul met with staff and took a tour of the Centre鈥檚 facilities to find out more about the psychological and moral support, and other forms of assistance, offered in these municipal centres.
皇冠体育app Consular Section has also visited 鈥楥asa Matilde鈥� foundation, which assists women at risk, and is in the process of compiling information about the different comprehensive care centres and refuges for victims of domestic and/or gender violence.
In this way, the British Embassy continues expanding its knowledge in this area, finding out more about all the services and tools available to provide the best possible support to British nationals who may require consular support due to gender violence, and taking steps to preserve the wellbeing of British citizens in Ecuador.
