皇冠体育app Foreign Secretary William Hague said:

I would like to wish a very happy New Year to Chinese communities around the globe, from Hong Kong and Shanghai to San Francisco and Sydney, and of course across the UK.

As we celebrate the arrival of the New Year, we should take time to look back on our achievements in the Year of the Snake. 皇冠体育app UK enjoys strong relations with countries across the Asia Pacific, and we have a broad relationship with China that goes well beyond our important and deepening trade links. We have continued to work together to tackle global challenges and agree initiatives with China on health, education and promoting development in the world’s poorest countries. 皇冠体育app growing friendship between our peoples should also be celebrated, with more visitors travelling in both directions, from tourists and students to businesspeople sealing the deals which are helping our economic recovery. I look forward to all of this continuing over the coming year.

I hope you enjoy the celebrations with your family and friends and I wish you a successful and prosperous Year of the Horse!
