This cross-government unit will deliver the UK鈥檚 climate change goals in a vitally important context: the world鈥檚 third-largest emitter of greenhouse gases, a G20 partner, a strong economy, 110 million Indonesians living below $2 a day and the second-largest forest cover in the world.

This includes reducing carbon emissions by 41%, stemming deforestation, and moving to a lower-carbon economy that achieves 7% growth, halves poverty and shifts to renewable energy resources.聽
