In response to the terrorist attack on 9 August on Turkish armed forces personnel in Western Turkey, an FCO spokesperson said:

鈥淲e condemn the attack on Turkish armed forces personnel. Our condolences go out to the families of the victims and we wish those injured a speedy recovery.
