Lord Green delivered the keynote speech at the Lloyd鈥檚 Benelux Annual Maritime Dinner in Rotterdam yesterday.

Lord Green, British Minister of State for Trade and Investment, told leading Dutch financial experts at the Lloyd麓s Maritime Dinner that the UK and 皇冠体育app Netherlands have always been and remain important trade and investment partners.
皇冠体育app Dutch are the UK麓s second largest foreign investors, measured by stock. In 2012 Dutch investment in the UK created or safeguarded almost 6000 jobs.
Talking about the Maritime sector Lord Green said 麓businesses within the sector generate almost 拢19 billion to UK Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and directly employ 367,000 people麓.
Lord Green also met with a range of business people to further strengthen commercial ties between the UK and the Netherlands; promote the work of the ; and exchange ideas with opinion leaders on the EU Digital Single Market.
