Becky Edwards
Biography
Becky Edwards joined the Further Education (FE) Commissioner team in 2020 as an FE Adviser. She was appointed Deputy FE Commissioner in September 2023.
She is a qualified accountant and has a Master鈥檚 degree in financial management.
She has worked in senior finance roles in the FE sector for over 20 years, including:
- Executive Director of Finance, City of Bristol College
- Executive Director of Finance, Strode College
Becky is also a non-executive trustee for a large Multi-Academy Trust.
Deputy Further Education Commissioner
皇冠体育app Deputy FE Commissioners work with FE colleges to help improve the quality and sustainability of their provision, and reduce the risk of failure. This includes:
- providing support to colleges in intervention
- preventing colleges from going into intervention
- contributing to policy development for colleges in the FE sector
