»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp Agri-Tech Catalyst was launched in 2013 as a key programme under the government’s UK strategy for agricultural technologies. It secured £60 million from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), Innovate UK and the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) to support UK-based innovation projects in the agri-tech sector.
»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp interim impact evaluation concluded that the programme has been effective in stimulating new and high-quality R&D and innovation in UK agri-tech. It encouraged new collaborative partnerships between business and academia that led to new products being brought to market which can help farmers increase productivity and sustainability.
