Background

When a maintained school become an academy their land is transferred, under lease, to the new academy鈥檚 trust. 皇冠体育appse new regulations enable the Secretary of State to get the required information for that transfer from local authorities.聽皇冠体育appy do not give him any new powers to force聽local authorities聽to transfer land, or remove any rights from local authorities.
