This report presents findings from the 2009 Employersâ€� Pension Provision Survey. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp survey was the eighth in the series. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp report describes the extent and nature of pension provision among private sector employers in Great Britain in 2009.
In respect of the extent of provision, the report covers the proportions of firms providing pensions and the extent of employee membership of employer pension schemes. In respect of the nature of pension provision, the report covers the types of provision, joining mechanisms and contribution rates.
»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp report also outlines the main reasons for provision or non-provision of pensions and examines recent and planned changes in provision. Comparisons are also made with findings from the 2007 survey.
»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp findings are based on a survey carried out among a nationally-representative sample of 2,519 private sector employers.
