Questions relating to General Practitioners鈥� (GPs) attitudes towards health and work were included in the sixth National General Practitioner Worklife Survey conducted by the National Primary Care Research and Development Centre. 皇冠体育app survey was administered by post to a randomly selected sample of 4,185 GPs from England, Wales and Scotland between September 2010 and November 2010. 皇冠体育app survey explored GPs鈥�:

  • knowledge of the health benefits of work and sources of advice and support for patients
  • attitudes towards promoting the health benefits of work
  • behaviour in promoting work as a benefit to health, using the new fit note as an opportunity to do so.
