皇冠体育app government welcomes the Foreign Affairs Committee鈥檚 report on the UK鈥檚 policy towards Iran, published on 14 July 2014 and its broad support for the government鈥檚 approach on these important issues. 皇冠体育app report鈥檚 thorough analysis and conclusions are an important contribution to the policy debate at a rare moment of opportunity in the nuclear diplomacy and in UK/Iran relations.

We thank the committee for its recognition of our attempts to improve human rights in Iran, its support for our approach to improving bilateral relations with Iran and its praise for UK鈥檚 role in cementing a united E3+3 approach to nuclear negotiations on Iran鈥檚 nuclear programme. This command paper sets out in full our response to each of the committee鈥檚 conclusions and recommendations.
