Inheritance Tax: return of estate information for deaths before 6 April 2011

Use the appropriate 'return of estate information' (form IHT205) for the year in which the person died, before 6 April 2011, if the estate is not likely to pay Inheritance Tax.

Details

Use the appropriate form and notes if the person died on or before 5 April 2011 and the estate is unlikely to pay Inheritance Tax.

If the person died on or after 6 April 2011 you should use the postal form IHT205 2011 .
