New requirements form guidance

Updated 10 April 2024

Purpose

This guidance is to show the Civil Service how to raise requests for new L&D (Learning and Development) requirements. 皇冠体育app guidance shows how requests are progressed. This guidance is to be used in conjunction with the Cabinet Office spend control policy for L&D.

聽Using the central suppliers for your L&D requirements

Our suppliers are contracted to work in partnership with the Cabinet Office鈥檚 Government Skills and Curriculum Unit (GSCU) to meet training needs across the Civil Service. 皇冠体育app suppliers bring with them a supply chain of professional services, business schools, universities, professional bodies and small/medium sized enterprises (SMEs). 皇冠体育app supply chains are dynamic, enabling them to flex to meet emerging learning needs. Information on all training and services that are available through these contracts can be found in the Service Catalogue on the learning website.

Action to take before submitting a request for a new requirement

Check the learning website and Service Catalogue to see if any existing offerings can fulfil your needs. If the service is already available, use this guidance to make the booking.

Alternatively, contact the Helpdesk to discuss your requirements 鈥 Phone: 020 3640 7985 鈥 Email: [email protected]

How to submit a request for new training

If the specific service you require is not already listed, you must complete a new requirements form. 皇冠体育app Helpdesk can assist you with this. Send the completed form to [email protected]. 皇冠体育app Helpdesk will review and progress your request as appropriate.

皇冠体育app new requirements process does not decide if the need is approved; authority and spend accountability remains with your organisation. We will automatically assume that the needs detailed in a new requirements form have been approved through local financial approval processes.
