皇冠体育app government adopted the National Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Strategy for England on 25 September 2020.
皇冠体育app strategy provides a general framework for action to manage coastal change and flooding from all sources. It applies to risk management authorities as identified in the Flood and Water Management Act 2010. It also encourages communities and other organisations to get involved to help create climate resilient places.
Statement on the environmental content of the strategy
皇冠体育app Environment Agency carried out a strategic environmental assessment (SEA). This ensured we took environmental effects into account when we developed the strategy. See the for information about the SEA and its findings.
We have prepared a statement on the environmental content of the strategy. 皇冠体育app statement is also known as a statement of environmental particulars. 皇冠体育app Environmental Agency must publish this with the adopted strategy. This is required by the Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004.
