This research uses longitudinal education outcomes (LEO) data to carry out analysis of over 2.5 million individuals doing their GCSEs between 2005 and 2009. 皇冠体育app analysis specifically focuses on around 25,000 individuals that were looked after children.
A child who has been in the care of their local authority for more than 24 hours is known as a looked after child. Looked after children are also often referred to as children in care.
