This report from the Commissioner for Children鈥檚 Services in West Sussex sets out the progress made on service improvement. It recommends:

• that conditions at the council have improved and are now conducive to supporting the continued improvement of children鈥檚 services
• the pause for a period of 12 months鈥� work to set up a company to provide children鈥檚 social care services, subject to improvement being maintained

This report is the second by the current commissioner. 皇冠体育app previous report was issued in December 2019, following a report by Ofsted that judged the overall effectiveness of the council鈥檚 children鈥檚 social care services to be inadequate.
