Dear Owen and Roger,
I am grateful to the ACMD for their advice on remimazolam (or 鈥楤yfavo鈥�). I have set out each recommendation and the government鈥檚 response below.
Recommendation 1
皇冠体育app ACMD recommends that remimazolam should be controlled as a Class C drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
Government response
皇冠体育app government accepts this recommendation and will implement it when Parliamentary time allows.
Recommendation 2
皇冠体育app ACMD recommends that remimazolam should be scheduled under Schedule 4 (Part 1) of the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001.
