皇冠体育app government welcomes the report by the House of Lords Select Committee on Soft Power and the UK鈥檚 Influence: Persuasion and Power in the Modern World. 皇冠体育app government agrees with the Committee that this is an important area and that the UK has a significant store of soft power assets and instruments at its disposal. 皇冠体育app government also agrees with the Committee that elements of soft power require a long-term investment and that the benefits of such investments should be clearly understandable for the British public. 皇冠体育app GREAT Britain campaign continues to play an important role in coordinating the UK鈥檚 soft power work in support of its prosperity objectives, and the legacy of a successful Olympics continues to be felt.
